BNP Paribas Real Estate has strengthened its pan-European logistics team with the appointment of Craig Maguire as head of logistics and industrial.
Maguire will lead the European coordination of the logistics business – investment and rentals/sales – alongside the consultancy’s local teams. He will be based in London and report to Larry Young, head of BNP PRE’s International Investment Group.
The pan-European team will continue to develop schemes with investor clients based in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America, as well as assisting occupier clients in their European expansion.
Maguire has more than two decades of experience across the UK and European real estate sectors. Within the capital markets logistics arena he has advised a variety of institutional investors and logistics property owners across their European portfolios, closing more than €2bn (£1.7bn) of capital transactions.
He has held high-profile principal and advisory senior management corporate positions in real estate acquisition, development, management and leasing. Having begun his career at CBRE UK in 1994, Maguire has also worked at Pinnacle Real Estate, DTZ UK and DTZ Poland, as well as acting as managing director of P3 Parks for Poland and Romania. In 2016, he founded Rockard Advisory in Glasgow, which specialises in both the UK and European logistics markets.
