BNP Paribas pair launch new firm

Two former senior directors at BNP Paribas have launched a new company to focus on the South East, called Catlin Young.

Robin Catlin, the former head of industrial agency in London at BNP PRE, and Tim Young, a senior South East office agency director at the company, where he spent 11 years, are joint owners of the new business.

The launch comes shortly after the pair left BNP PRE, which is undergoing a series of consultations over potential redundancies.

Young said: “We will offer services to our clients which may not always be available in markets where values have been under threat. We are under no illusion that the markets are going to take a while to recover, but the reaction we have had from clients, agents and friends has been only positive, and we are already working on some interesting new projects”.

Both Catlin and Young are former national chairmen of the office and industrial agent’s societies. Each has around 30 years experience in the real estate sector.
