BNP Paribas REIM reshuffles top team in Europe

BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management has rejigged its top team, as its global chief investment officer and UK chief executive Benoît De La Boulaye departs for a role at Edmond de Rothschild REIM.

De La Boulaye has joined EdR REIM as chief investment officer for Europe.

At BNP Paribas REIM, Vincenzo Nocerino (above right) has become global CIO, while remaining chief executive of its Italy business and a member of the executive board.

He will be tasked with supporting the growth of the entire business line, across all asset classes, regions and risk profiles.

Nocerino joined BNP Paribas REIM in 2020. He was previously head of transactions at UBS real estate and private markets, where he coordinated sourcing and execution of real estate transactions for funds under management and separate accounts, and supported the company’s development and fundraising.

Laurence Weydert (above left) has been appointed as global head of asset management at BNP Paribas REIM, in a newly created role. Weydert will report to Nocerino in the role. She will remain head of asset management France & Belux, a position she has held since 2022.

Weydert has 25 years’ experience in audit, advisory, investment and asset management. She spent more than a decade with the Klépierre Group, where she was head of operations for Sweden and Denmark for five years. She then ran the investment management and asset management activities for France and Belgium for six years.

Swati Srivastava (above centre) is appointed as country head UK. She will continue to develop BNP Paribas REIM’s business in the country. She also continues to serve as the head of institutional sales and investor relations for the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Nordics and international clients, a role she has fulfilled since 2022.

Srivastava has more than 21 years of institutional client, strategy and capital-raising experience in FTSE 100, as well as entrepreneurial environments. Previously, she worked at Frogmore, Aviva Investors, Fitch Ratings and Lloyds TSB.
