BNP PRE weighs Southampton future

BNP-PRE-THUMB.jpegBNP Paribas Real Estate is considering closing its Southampton office after the departure of key staff last month.

The proposed closure is in response to the departure of three directors. Head of office Robert Haynes, David Ferriman and Steven Williams left to set up their own agency in early October.

A spokesman for the company said: “We are still discussing this proposal with our clients to ensure they are satisfied with our client coverage. We cannot say any more for legal reasons. While we are growing our UK business, we must remain adaptable to change and be prepared to make difficult decisions to ensure sustainable growth.”
