Two senior directors from BNP Paribas Real Estate are to set up their own business after resigning from the company.
City agency directors Jeremy Trice (pictured) and Tim Davies joined BNP PRE as part of the acquisition of Morgan Pepper in March 2008.
BNP PRE confirmed their departures, but insisted the company would continue to invest in its central London transaction business, arguing it had “already brought in some big names”.
A statement from the company said: “We are confident that the positives of this investment will far outweigh any negatives. In the meantime, it’s business as usual with our clients and the City team, led by our chairman of London Fred Hargreaves, and MD Dan Bayley.”
Recent BNP PRE appointments include chief executive John Slade, who joined earlier this month from his own company Accrue Capital, and who has previously been City chief executive at CBRE and head of capital markets at DTZ.
Executive director of investment Paul Abrey, investment director James Russell and UK investment management chief Geraldine Davies are among other recent recruits.
Trice and Davies were unavailable for comment.
