Boden takes 85,000 sq ft in Leicester

  Catalogue retailer Boden has signed up to take an 85,000 sq ft warehouse in Leicester.   The retailer will sublet the space from Autoglass at 19 Meridian North, on the Meridian Business Park, close to the city centre.   A lease of four-and-a-half years has been agreed at a rent of £4.50 per sq ft.   Boden already occupies a 100,000 sq ft unit adjacent to the new facility to house its 600 staff. This new deal is an expansion for the firm.   Geoff Gibson, head of Lambert Smith Hampton’s Leicester office which advised Autoglass, said the deal is the largest in Leicester for at least six months.   Cushman & Wakefield represented Boden.   lisa.pilkington@rbi.co.uk
