Bond Wolfe auction sales top £100m

Property auctioneer Bond Wolfe has broken through the £100m barrier for sales to date in 2024, with its current total almost 20% higher than at this stage last year.

The Midlands-based firm is increasingly expanding its reach, with its auctions attracting properties for sale from Cornwall to Scotland and from London to Wales, as well as from across the Midlands.

Its auction sales tally has reached £101.6m so far in 2024, 19.4% higher that the £85.1m total sales made at this stage in 2023.

Craig Upton, marketing director at Bond Wolfe, said: “Our impressive auction sales results to date in 2024 are a clear indication that the property market has turned a corner from near recession into positive growth.

“The strength of demand this summer is considerably higher year-on-year, as reflected by our sales total, which is approaching 20% higher than last year.”

The new total comes as four properties sold prior to Bond Wolfe’s next auction on 12 September.
