Bond Wolfe launches Midlands auctions business

Midlands property consultant Bond Wolfe has launched a new property auctions business.

Bond Wolfe Auctions will be based in newly refurbished offices on Birmingham’s Colmore Row with further offices in West Bromwich and Wolverhampton.

The team behind the new business will be led by chief executive Gurpreet Bassi (pictured left) and managing director Ian Tudor (right) who until recently were the heads of residential and commercial auctions respectively at the Bigwood auctions business.

Bond Wolfe Auctions will be selling a variety of residential, commercial, mixed use properties and land throughout the UK in its first auction at Villa Park on 13 March.

Bassi said: “We will hold six auctions in our first year and we are looking forward to a strong start in March when we hold our first auction of 2019… We are going to be a national auctions business, although two of our core areas will be the West and East Midlands regions.”

He added that the team had more than 200 years’ combined experience in the property auctions market.

Tudor said: “Auctions have traditionally been seen as the preserve of largely residential property, but in recent years we have witnessed commercial property really making its presence felt in the auction room and I am looking forward to helping businesses, corporate, public sector and private clients make the most of their real estate interests. We are confident that offering such a diverse range of properties both locally and nationally from such a central and accessible location will have a real appeal to both vendors and purchasers.”

Bond Wolfe Auctions expects to have a team of 15 by the end of March.
