Birmingham City Council has instructed Bond Wolfe to sell six of its properties in its July auction.
The residential, commercial and development sale, on 13 July, features 183 lots in total.
Ron Darlington, consultant director of Bond Wolfe, said: “We are pleased to have been asked to sell what is an interesting selection of properties across the city that can be brought back into use and provide new accommodation, whether for families or businesses.
“Maximising the existing stock available through the auction route is a swift way of bringing these properties back into gainful use.”
The properties being sold by the council include:
- A Victorian, two-bedroom terraced house in Aston. The property is in need of renovation and is offered with a guide price of £125,000.
- A four-bedroom, semi-detached house in Moseley. This property is also in need of renovation, with a guide price of £225,000.
- A Grade II listed former factory (pictured) in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. It has been used as a training centre and offices but is subject to planning permission. The property has a guide a price of £350,000.
The auction is by remote bidding only, with bidding online, over the phone or by submitted proxy bids.
