Bond Wolfe Auctions set a new Midlands record at its February sale, raising £24.6m with a 96% success rate.
The live-streamed remote bidding auction on 17 February attracted more than 3,500 bidders, with some 23,000 people tuning in to watch.
The sale, with 224 lots offered, was the largest auction held in the region.
Highlights included Merridale Cemetery Lodge, a freehold, large five-bedroom property (pu, offered on behalf of City of Wolverhampton Council, which sold for £330,000 from a guide price of £275,000-plus.
An industrial/office investment at 122 Holyhead Road, Birmingham, also sold well, achieving £1m. Let to a long-term established tenant, the property produces annual rental of £75,000.
A strong result was also achieved for 39 Steepwood Croft, Kings Norton, Birmingham, a three-bedroom, end-of-terrace house which sold for £157,000 – more than three times its guide price of £50,000.
In Dudley, a two-bedroom, semi-detached house at 35 Spring Road raised £100,000 from a guide price of £49,000-£54,000, while elsewhere in the town, 26 Harebell Crescent sold for £95,000 from a guide price of £49,000-plus.
Down the road in Brierley Hill, competitive bidding saw the hammer fall at £112,500 for 23 Corbett Road, a three-bedroom, semi-detached house offered with a guide price of £59,000-plus.
The next sale will be held on 31 March.
