Bookmaker Ladbrokes Coral has chosen Here East at the Olympic Park, E20, as the site of a new 26,336 sq ft technology and innovation hub.
The facility will bring together software engineers, analysts, architects and sport product specialists under one roof to work on bridging the gap between sports and technology to improve fans’ experience.
Other firms at Here East include BT Sport, which has broadcast live from an 80,000 sq ft production hub on the campus since 2013, and Loughborough University, which opened a London campus in 2015.
The 1.2m sq ft site is also home to Plexal – an innovation centre offering 70,000 sq ft incubator, accelerator and collaborative workspace, along with services to support scaling companies.
Here East is being developed by iCITY, a company owned by clients of Delancey.
