Boots sheds last retail centre

Boots has sold the last of its non-operational property, a shopping centre in Hastings.

A private Irish client of BTW Shiells has bought Priory Meadows for £61.5m, showing a 7% yield.

Keith Shiells of BTWShiells said that UK shopping centres were attractive to Irish investors because “it is virtually impossible to buy a scheme like Priory Meadow in Northern Ireland”.

Jones Lang LaSalle represented Boots.
