Boots is to add more in-store GP surgeries to those it is already testing in Kingston and Birmingham.
It is also piloting 12 of its own branded dental surgeries as well as chiropodists’ practices.
It reported pretax profits down 62% from £431.9m to £170.3m after exceptionals on sales up from £5.02bn to £5.04bn.
