Boots to relocate from Nottingham city centre

Boots Plc plans to close three Nottingham city centre offices and move the staff into a new extension to D90, the company’s existing headquarters on 121 ha (300 acres) in Beeston, Nottinghamshire.

The £50m project includes a 18,580 sq m (200,000 sq ft) extension to D90 and a £20m refurbishment of the existing building.

A Boots’ spokesperson said the cost of the new work would be equivalent to the rent saved in the move. Staff will move into the extension from the city centre when leases on Queen Street, Citygate and Station Street offices expire.
