Plans for a four-runway airport in the Thames Estuary are likely to be dismissed by Sir Howard Davies’ Airports Commission next week.
The Estuary Airport, nicknamed Boris Island due to the fanatical support it has received from London’s Mayor, is expected to be dismissed in favour of improvements to Heathrow and Gatwick.
