Boston named the least integrated town in the UK

The Lincolnshire town of Boston has come bottom of the Policy Exchange’s newly launched integration index.

The index, which marks the launch of a new unit on demography, immigration and integration, examines identity and structural integration. Boston came out bottom of the 160 cities and towns that were surveyed. Amersham came top.

The 2011 census shows eastern Europeans comprise 10.6% of Boston’s population of 65,000.
