Robert Bourne has secured backing from Nick Raynsford for a high-technology science park in the south-east.
The millionaire developer had planned to build one at the Millennium Dome but lost out to Nomura in the bid to buy the site.
Raynsford now wants to see Bourne’s ‘Knowledge City’ plan implemented as part of a regeneration of Thames Gateway.
