Bovis has forward sold 8% more homes in 2015 than in the same period last year, the company said in a statement ahead of its AGM.
Up to 8 May the company had sold 3,049 homes, with an average of 0.65 homes sold a week.
Alongside this, the company said that sales prices had continued to grow over the same period, up 2% on the company’s expectations in the last quarter of 2014.
Production of new housing was also up 9% in the period in line with the 2015 plan but more stock is expected to enter the market in the last half of the year due to slower housing starts than planned at the beginning of the year.
