Bovis Homes increases provisions to deal with quality issues

Bovis Homes has set aside an additional £3.5m to address customer complaints following quality issues with its new-build properties, bringing the total provision to £10.5m.

The company completed 1,512 homes during the first half of the year, a reduction of 5.6% compared with the previous year as it seeks to rectify the build-quality problems.

The average selling price rose 9% to £277,000.
