Bowling operators are campaigning to be allowed to reopen after being excluded in government plans.
The tenpin bowling industry had hoped to be allowed to reopen on 4 July, with pubs and restaurants. Then they had hoped to be include with gyms, pools and trampolining centres on 25 July, only for the 321 centres to be left out of the government’s plans.
Hollywood Bowl said: “We have been left behind but with no explanation from ministers on why, and no pre-warning that we were likely to miss out.”
