Boxing promoter Barry Hearn is facing a fierce fight over his plans to buy a village in Cornwall.
Trevalga Manor, a 1,200-acre estate between Boscastle and Tintagel, which comprises six farms and 17 homes, was put up for sale for £15.75m
The manor is being sold by Savills on behalf of Marlborough College, but residents are fearing eviction.
Hearn said he has been “snubbed” by villagers who could not believe he did not want to redevelop.
