Boxpark’s plans to open in Croydon have been approved by the council.
Boxpark Croydon will open next summer as a ‘meanwhile use’ scheme for five years on the Ruskin Square site next to East Croydon station.
It is being delivered in partnership with the GLA and Stanhope & Schroders.
Made from 97 shipping containers, Boxpark Croydon will be food and drink focused with more than 30 outlets.
The wider redevelopment of the Ruskin Square site by Stanhope & Schroders will see up to 1.25m sq ft of offices, 625 new homes and more than 100,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space.
