Homes England has confirmed it has appointed Eamonn Boylan as interim chief executive, as revealed by EG last week.
Boylan’s appointment follows the announcement that Peter Denton, the agency’s incumbent chief executive, will stand down from his role in January 2025. Boylan will join the agency on 15 January 2025.
Boylan has more than 42 years of experience in public sector roles, including deputy chief executive of Manchester City Council, chief executive of Stockport Council, and deputy chief executive of the Homes and Communities Agency (a predecessor of Homes England).
