BP Estates gets green light for Oxfordshire business park expansion

BP Estates has been given the go-ahead to develop a further 190,000 sq ft of offices, production and distribution facilities on the vacant land at White Horse business park in Oxfordshire.

The 650,000 sq ft park was constructed by West Wiltshire District council in 1986 on the site of the former Shellingford RAF Airfield.

The scheme, designed by Tom Gristwood Architects, is divided into three development zones of 2, 9 and 11 acres. The developer intends to bring forward part or whole of each zone in phases, in line with demand.

The 11-acre zone will provide up to 11 facilities measuring a combined 152,471 sq ft. Another zone will have 10 small workspaces, totalling 12,077 sq ft, while the final zone will provide 25,586 sq ft of warehouse space and 2,217 sq ft of ancillary space.

The sites be suitable for both large-scale, established organisations and smaller or start-up companies, including a mix of local and national companies.

Green & Co advised on planning.
