The British Property Federation has appointed Isabelle Hease as chair of its young professional network BPF Futures.
Hease takes over from outgoing chair Harvin Chohan, who has held the role since the group was established in 2017.
BPF Futures has since grown to 1,300 junior professionals, representing over 300 companies in real estate. It works with people who have under 10 years experience in property.
Hease will work to build out the Launchpad initiative, to provide greater mentoring and networking opportunities for young people, while also expanding the programme of events to grow the network.
She has been an advisory board member for BPF Futures for over four years, as well as the Technology and Innovation Committee and the High Street Adaptation working group.
Hease is chief executive of Visitor Insights and spent over five years in research and analysis at Ellandi.
She said: “BPF Futures has an important role to play in bringing together young and diverse views from across the real estate sector. The combination of networking opportunities and professional development helps to foster essential relationships between the chief executives of tomorrow.
“In my role as chair, my core focus will be to elevate the bright young voices in the property industry, giving them the platform to have their views embedded into policy positions. A regional programme of events will facilitate conversations across the country, expanding our reach and representation even further.”
