The Tomorrow’s Leaders’ Awards 2017 aim to find and celebrate high-achievers in the industry who have been working in property for a maximum of 10 years. The BPF also hopes to address the need to further break down barriers of entry to the industry for young people from diverse backgrounds.

The categories are:
• Community engagement
• Inclusivity
• Innovation
• Collaboration
• Rising star

The judging panel includes Eastdil Secured senior advisor Ian Marcus, Crown Estate chief executive Alison Nimmo, Student Cribs chief executive Charlie Vaughan Lee, and EG reporter Louisa Clarence-Smith.

The awards are open to BPF members and non-members and the deadline for submissions is 8 April. The winners will be announced at the BPF president’s lunch on 23 May.

BPF chief executive Melanie Leech, chief executive said: “Our Tomorrow’s Leaders’ Awards celebrate the best characteristics of our industry and the values we aspire to – innovation, inclusivity, collaboration and engagement. We want to see nominations from right across the sector, and from every size of business.

“Identifying and nurturing talent is key to ensuring the industry can continue to thrive – and the awards will be made to young professionals who deserve to be recognised for their outstanding contribution.”

Applications open next week. For more information, see www.bpf.org.uk/events/tomorrow’s-leaders’-awards
