Bradley appointed chief executive at Kenmore

Kenmore Property Group, the Edinburgh-based company founded by John Kennedy, has appointed Pauline Bradley as its new chief executive.

Bradley joins Kenmore, where Kennedy will remain as executive chairman, from the Bank of Scotland, where she has headed up the joint ventures team since 1999.

Bradley joined the Bank of Scotland in 1991 in the Structure Finance division. She was asked to establish a joint ventures team in 1999, which has since carried out over £10bn of deals.

High profile joint venture deals include taking Chelsfield private in May last year and taking Green Property Company private in 2002, which was at the time the largest corporate deal in the bank’s history.

Bradley said: “The opportunities in the real estate sector have, I believe, never been more interesting or appealing. The current size and status of Kenmore holds a great appeal for me. I have no doubt that Kenmore is ideally placed to capitalise on current market opportunities.”

Head of Corporate Banking at Bank of Scotland Peter Cummings said: “Pauline was a cornerstone of our highly successful joint venture business. She goes with our blessing and we look forward to working with her and Kenmore in the future.”

Kennedy said: “Pauline brings a wealth of experience and business acumen that I am sure we will find immensely valuable.”

Bradley joins Kenmore on January 31st.
