ISIS Waterside Regeneration has secured planning consent for phase one of its proposed mixed-use scheme, Brentford Lock West.
This first phase will comprise a mix of 150 one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom flats and houses, all for private sale, together with commercial space.
The overall scheme will comprise 520 homes, 20% of which will be affordable. The scheme will also deliver 70,000 sq ft of commercial space.
Works on site are due to start this winter, with the first homes being completed in winter 2013.
Katie Sully, development director at ISIS Waterside Regeneration, said: “This first phase will offer a complementary mix of residential housing and commercial space. Alongside our commitment to make improvements to the surrounding waterways and towpath, this new scheme will help to breathe life back into Brentford. The homes here have really been designed to maximise their waterside location and will allow residents to make the most of what the water has to offer.”
