Brexit talks: register now to attend in New York or Toronto

Global Real Estate link buttonPlaces are now open to attend two events being held in Toronto and New York as part of the UK government’s investment mission to North America.

Key global investors and market analysts will converge in Toronto on Wednesday 21 September for an afternoon of presentations and panel discussions that will showcase regeneration investment opportunities in the UK in the wake of Brexit. Stephen Taylor, who manages billions of dollars of global real estate investments for the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan, will be among the speakers.

In New York, a panel discussion will take place at the World Trade Center on Friday 23 September that delves into the special relationship between New York and London, their global competitiveness, and urban regeneration. Among the speakers will be Michael Spies, who heads European and Indian investment at Tishman Speyer and Carl Weisbrod, chief city planner for New York.

The investment mission and events are being organised by the UK Government’s Department for International Trade and Estates Gazette, in partnership with Savills. Taking part will be Sir Edward Lister, special adviser to the department for international trade, and Sajid Javid, the minister for communities and local government.

The events are free to attend but places are limited.
