The vote to leave the European Union was not primarily about immigration, Natalie Bennett said in her final speech as Green Party leader.
Half of those opting for Leave cited as their main reason the principle that decisions about the UK should be taken in the UK. Only a third said their main concern was immigration.
Even among those expressing concern about immigration, when asked to explain further, most talked about low wages, crowded schools and hospitals, and the cost of housing, she said.
