Bristol retirement scheme gets OK

approval-stamp-generic-THUMB.jpegPegasusLife has received consent to renovate a Victorian building in Bristol to create a retirement community.

Queen Victoria House, in Redland Hill, will undergo extensive refurbishment, while the car park on the site will be redeveloped into two buildings with 65 apartments in total.

The scheme was designed by Bristol-based and Stirling Prize-winning architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris.

The development is part of PegasusLife’s plans to boost its investment in Bristol. The company already has a number of projects across the UK, including a planned development in Portishead, and a scheme in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, that is due to complete in summer 2017.
