Mercury Asset Management and St George’s Securities are planning to build Bristol’s first autopark on a 4ha (9.8acre) site in Whitby Road. The joint venture acquired the site from Co-operative Retail Services for an undisclosed sum.
Construction of the scheme, to be known as Pioneer Park, will start in the autumn, says David Skinner of letting agent Chesterton. The site is close to the new St Philips Causeway spine road and the Avonmeads Retail Centre.
Hartnell Taylor Cook advised the Co-op in the sale.
