Bristol to Host 204-room PBSA scheme

Host Student Housing has received planning permission from Bristol City Council to develop a purpose-built student accommodation scheme comprising 204 bedrooms.

The site is located on Freestone Road, directly opposite the new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus, which is currently being developed by the University of Bristol.

The Chapman Taylor-designed scheme will be split across four buildings ranging in height from six to eight storeys.

Host’s scheme will be delivered by commercial property specialist Tiger Developments, sister company to Host and part of the O’Flynn Group.

John Nesbitt, managing director at Host Student Housing, said: “This development of much-needed, high-quality student accommodation will support the regeneration of Bristol Temple Quarter and the university’s ambitious vision for its new enterprise campus.

“Students will have a safe, stylish and professionally managed place to live in the heart of one of the most exciting cities in which to study in the UK.”

Savills’ Bristol office acted as planning consultants.
