British Airways Pensions Scheme has bought a 4,645 sq m (50,000 sq ft) office unit at The Lakes, Northampton, for £6.2m, from Barwood Developments and Wilson Connolly Properties. The sale price reflects a yield of 8.4%.
In March 1996, law firm Shoosmiths & Harrison (S&H) took a 20 year lease with a break option in year 15 at £113.02 per sq m (£10.50 per sq ft). S&H moved to the three storey building, which stands on the A45 next to Brackmills, from offices in central Northampton.
