British Gas Properties has submitted a planning application for the first phase of a £28m mixed-use business park close to Junction 28 of the M62 , south of Leeds.
Subject to approval, BGP intends redeveloping the 18ha (45 acre) former Topcliffe Lane depot and Tingley gasworks as a 34,373 sq m (370,000 sq ft) business park. The first of four phases would include 6,039 (65,000 sq ft) of offices, 2,457 sq m (26,450 sq ft) of industrial units and 7,153 sq m (77,000 sq ft) of storage/distribution space.
