British interiors brand Oka returns to Milton Park

British interiors brand Oka has relocated its headquarters to MEPC’s Milton Park in Oxfordshire, marking a return to the campus where it had begun its growth journey in 2009.

The firm will occupy a 12,971 sq ft office on 152 Brook Drive. The new single-storey, open-plan space will provide collaborative and agile way of working for the team. Market sources have told Estates Gazette that the deal was signed on a six-year term at £22.7 per sq ft.

OKA joins a growing community of retail and consumer goods occupiers such as Hampers.co.uk, Bonhams|CarsOnline and Whittard of Chelsea.

Aalish Yorke-Long, chief customer officer at OKA, said: “The Milton Park team provided us with a blank canvas and space that we have been able to transform. It has brought our departments together under one roof in a way we’ve never had before, and into a space which embodies our brand values.”

Tom Booker, commercial manager at MEPC Milton Park, said: “Partnering with OKA has provided us with an opportunity to improve the building’s green credentials, resulting in an EPC A+ rating and a new rooftop solar panel system.”
