British Land agrees London lettings

British Land has agreed a series of new London lettings, including the first deals for its flexible workspace brand Storey.

Robotic software company Blue Prism and property giant Lendlease have taken 10,200 sq ft in total at 338 Euston Road at Regent’s Place, NW1, while at Paddington Central, W2, 15,200 sq ft of workspace provided by Storey at 4 Kingdom Street has been taken by mobile network operator Ice Group, telecoms infrastructure firm BAI Communications UK, and packaging manufacturer KP Group.

The average lease length for the Storey lettings 28 months.

Storey is now operational across the firm’s London campuses with 88,000 sq ft of space let or under offer, taking occupancy to 77%.

Meanwhile, IT services company Wipro’s strategic design and digital arm Digital + Designit, and connected vehicle technology innovator Tantalum, have together taken 19,000 sq ft in the City at Broadgate 2FA, while data-driven employee scheduling business Rotageek has taken 1,800 sq ft at Appold Studios.

Elsewhere in the capital at International House in Ealing, W6, marine technical services company AP&A, REED Specialist Recruitment, and Scandinavian service provider to the broadcaster media industry Mediability have taken a total of 2,500 sq ft.

Tim Roberts, head of offices at British Land, said the company had seen “strong interest” in Storey since its launch last year with customers drawn to the flexibility it provides set within British Land’s campuses.
