British Land won two awards at last night’s BCSC Gold Awards 2014.
The firm’s Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield won the sustainability award, while its Old Market in Hereford won the best new centre award.
Freshwater Group of Companies’ redevelopment of Aycliffe town centre won the award for best refurbishment under £5m, and Woking Shopping won the award for the best redevelopment over £5m.
Other award highlights included intu Lakeside (pictured) winning the best catering and leisure destination for its recent food court development, and next was named occupier of the year.
The ceremony took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, W1, and was attended by more than 1,000 property professionals.
