British Land chief financial officer Lucinda Bell is to stand down from the board and leave the company on 4 April 2018.
Bell was appointed to the board in March 2011 and became chief financial officer in May 2011.
The company said it will now start a search for a successor.
Chris Grigg, chief executive, said: “We wish Lucinda well for the future and thank her for her significant contribution to the company over her time at British Land.
“As CFO she has been instrumental in strengthening the balance sheet and reorganising our finances so we have a strong platform for the future.”
Lucinda Bell said: “It has been a privilege and a pleasure to contribute to the success of British Land as it has transitioned into a modern, strategically focussed REIT.”
