Outgoing British Land chairman Sir John Ritblat has sold the company’s London HQ to Matterhorn Capital, the property company founded by Anthony Lyons and Simon Conway.
Matterhorn, which is seeking to become more active in the high-end residential property sector, bought the historic buildings on Cornwall Terrace in Regent’s Park for £50.5m.
The group intends to convert the buildings into exclusive luxury private homes.
