The 288,000 sq ft office building is in the process of being repositioned following the departure of banking giant UBS.
British Land has already prelet 80,000 sq ft of space at the building to cloud services provider Mimecast, ahead of the scheme’s completion in late 2018.
The firm, which asset manages the estate alongside partner GIC, is working up similar retail and leisure proposals across the scheme as it attempts to create a mixed-use destination.
It is now in the process of working up plans for 93,000 sq ft of retail and leisure at 100 Liverpool Street, EC2, which will also have a rooftop restaurant.
Chief financial officer Lucinda Bell said: “It’s becoming a campus with diverse uses for before, during and after work.”
