British Land’s revised design for Plantation House gets go-ahead

British Land has won consent for its revised proposals for No. 2 Plantation Place in the City of London.

The second phase of Plantation Place, designed by Arup Associates, will total 155,242 sq ft (14,422 sq m), adding around 13,000 sq ft (1,207 sq m) to the original plans.

The development, which will front both Mincing Lane and Eastcheap in London EC3, will have typical floor plates of 18,460 sq ft (1,715 sq m) each.

In October 2001, management consultancy Accenture took most of the 541,000 sq ft (50,265 sq m) No. 1 Plantation Place, which is under construction.

Letting agents for No. 2 are CB Hillier Parker and DTZ Debenham Tie Leung.
