British Land has signed three new retailers, Oliver Bonas, AllSaints and Tommy Hilfiger, taking retail space to a total of 9,304 sq ft at Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield.
Oliver Bonas has taken 3,590 sq ft opposite Flannels for its flagship store. AllSaints has relocated on the centre’s Upper-Level High Street, in a new 3,252 sq ft store. While Tommy Hilfiger has taken a 2,462 sq ft store on Meadowhall’s Lower Level, adjacent to Oliver Bonas. All the brands have signed 10-year lease agreements.
These latest deals follow the signing of three brands in March — JD Sports, Superdrug, and Ann Summers — which together took 42,278 sq ft on 10-year leases.
This commitment comes after Meadowhall recorded its strongest Easter Weekend since 2018, with Easter Sunday marking its busiest day on record. The destination saw more than 223,000 visitors over the four-day period, up 4.4% on 2024.
Richard Crowther, retail leasing director at British Land, said: “The continued investment in Meadowhall and our understanding of market trends are two key reasons why brands have the destination so high on their list for the latest store concepts, meaning our visitors constantly have an experience reflective of the country’s best-of-the-best in retail.”
