British Land signs trio of healthcare providers for Manchester retail park

British Land has let 12,800 sq ft of space to three healthcare businesses at Crownpoint Retail Park, Denton, in Greater Manchester. Out of the total leased space, 5,000 sq ft has been taken by InHealth, a community diagnostic centre; 2,500 sq ft by CVS Vets, a veterinary services firm; and 5,300 sq ft by MyDentist, a dental care provider. Spread across 212,000 sq ft, Crownpoint is leased to a variety of occupiers in the retail, food and beverage, and healthcare sectors. British Land, which owns 8% of the UK retail park market, has 99% occupancy at the centre. Matthew Reed, head of retail parks at British Land, said: “With 40% of England’s population located within a 30-minute drive of British Land’s portfolio, leading healthcare brands are showing increasing interest in our retail parks. “Providers embedded within the community are providing a crucial service for patients, cutting waiting times for core services such as blood tests or X-rays.
