British Telecom is taking 1,486 sq m (16,000 sq ft) at the Prudential’s Stannard Place office development in Norwich.
BT will move into the second floor of both Austin House and Cavell House, on two 15-year leases with 10-year breaks. The rent is £107.64 per sq m (£10 per sq ft), after a year rent free. The communications giant confirmed that it will be disposing of its existing offices in the city at St Giles Street.
Last month, the Pru let 1,718 sq m (18,500 sq ft) at Stannard Place to Regus Business Systems. Other occupiers include Prudential itself and General Accident.
