BBC Pensions Trust has paid Britten Investments £7.2m for the 3,170 sq m (24,160 sq ft) city centre offices at 100 Victoria, Victoria Street, Bristol.
The deal reflects a net initial yield of 7.65% The property is occupied by Brann Ltd on a 20-year lease, at a rent of £580,720 pa.
Alder King acted for Britten Investments, while Knight Frank represented BBC.
