Brixton seals first letting at Basingstoke scheme

Brixton has agreed the first letting at the Antura development on its 800,000 sq ft (74,320 sq m) Kingsland Business Park in Basingstoke.

Markwins International Corporation, the cosmetics manufacturing and distribution company, has agreed to take two units totalling 30,690 sq ft (2,851 sq m) on a 10-year lease at a rental of £260,865 pa. 

Brixton said there is a six-month rent-free period and the tenant has a break in July 2010.

The agreement is subject to Brixton installing lighting in the warehouse and carrying out some minor decorative works.

There are a further five industrial/warehouse units totalling around 68,000 sq ft (6,317 sq m) still available to let at Antura.
