Brodies, Scotland’s largest law firm, is set to take a pre-let in Edinburgh city centre.
The company is understood to be in negotiations with Chris Stewart Group to take the entirety of The Mint Building, a grade-A office block in the Registers development.
The building provides more than 60,000 sq ft of offices over eight floors.
Brodies, which presently occupies two offices in Edinburgh, at 15 Atholl Crescent and 50 Lothian Road, instructed Cushman & Wakefield to seek sites to facilitate its expansion.
Last year the company reaffirmed its commitment to Glasgow, moving its 190 staff to BAM’s 110 Queen Street.
A spokesman for Brodies said: “Having made very successful moves to new offices in Aberdeen and Glasgow we continue to explore our options in Edinburgh.”
