Bronn battles in Game of Farms

A fearsome mercenary from Westeros has sworn his sword to a group of Welsh farmers to save an ancient farm from the bulldozers.

The 11 acre Trecadwgan Farm, which sits above the coastal village of Solva in Pembrokeshire, dates back at least 700 years, with many believing it was actually built in the 11th century.

It had been leased to farmers by Pembrokeshire county council until the last tenant died in 2017, and has no been put up for sale as an “ideal development opportunity”.

But now Bronn from Game of Thrones, otherwise known as actor and sometime singer Jerome Flynn, has teamed up with locals to buy the farm and turn it into a farming skills centre.

His group, Save Trecadwgan Farm, had their offer to buy the farm accepted by the council in December, but now claim the council has gone back on the agreement in favour of seeking a higher bid.
