Canadian giant Brookfield Asset Management has poached Julian Schiller from Jones Lang LaSalle.
Schiller, who joins from JLL corporate finance, will focus on capital-raising initiatives for Brookfield’s pooled funds, joint ventures and co-investments.
He will report to Leo van den Thillart, managing partner and head of the London-based Private Funds Group.
Schiller will look after European and Middle Eastern investors, working alongside Barry Blattman, senior managing partner, and former Hammerson London boss Martin Jepson.
